Barbara Fischer-Clark

Barbara is Founder and Managing Director of Clark & Fischer-Clark GmbH
She began her career in 1984 as an independent expert supporting the introduction of large-scale IT systems at the European Commission
in Brussels, and in the following years advised many large European government and corporate organizations on various IT and
project / process management topics.
From 1990 until 1998 she supported the Sales and Marketing of various British High Tech companies as a Sales Manager and Agent where
she made a significant contribution to the increase of turnover in German speaking Europe.
From 1999 Barbara worked as a project manager for the R&D and Professional Services
group of O3SIS AG, a software company providing Mobile Data and Wireless Applications to the Global Telecom market. Later
in the role of Director of R&D, she helped shape the key processes, workflows, and methodologies enabling O3SIS to
efficiently satisfy the needs of their demanding customer and partner base and to become the European market leader in
Mobile Date and Wireless Applications. O3SIS was taken over by Gemalto in spring 2009.
From October 2008 Barbara has been responsible for a new project at Clark & Fischer-Clark GmbH setting up a Sales Agency for a German Eco-Timber House Manufacturer in the United Kingdom. The project commenced with a market study of the Self Build Market in the UK. The Timber House Agency was launched at one of the leading exhibitions in Birmingham in 2009
Barbara has considerable experience in managing and leading international projects, coordinating people from all over the world and motivating them to achieve their targets in complex and mission critical technology projects. Her management expertise, communication skills and structural approach are renowned in the European telecom market as well as the British Self Build market and many UK companies where she has acted as their consultant.
